Atmospheric processes and geological systems are two of the reasons I got interested in physics-informed machine learning in the first place — I wanted to build models that respect the physical laws governing these systems rather than treating them as black boxes. Earth Science, which I took as a summer course, ended up being my favorite class of my entire degree, and I used to read a lot about meteorology before that got crowded out — I’m planning to dig those books back up. This category is where I’ll write up what I’m learning about the Earth sciences side of things: weather systems, geological processes, and the papers and textbooks I’m working through.

More posts coming as I go.
